COURSE Overview
Extended Reality (XR) technologies, including AR, VR, and MR, are transforming how people learn, work, and train. This course provides hands-on, project-based instruction in designing and deploying immersive XR content for both industrial training and academic environments.
Participants will build real-world XR applications in Unity, interact with digital twins and dashboards, and explore the deployment of XR modules to devices like Microsoft HoloLens 2 and Meta Quest 3.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the role of XR (AR/VR/MR) in education and training
- Design intuitive 3D interfaces and user experiences
- Develop XR apps in Unity with C#
- Interact with real-time digital twins and data visualizations
- Deploy and test applications on XR headsets
- Evaluate user performance and training outcomes through immersive feedback
